The solar powered roller shutter pairs a photovoltaic panel and rechargeable battery with a low-energy tubular motor, so the door operates independently of the mains. It is the right solution for remote agricultural and utility buildings, off-grid storage, sites where running mains power to the opening is costly, and any project targeting energy self-sufficiency.
RAX sizes the panel, battery and motor to the cycle duty and local solar exposure so the system reliably recharges between operations, and supplies the charge controller and wiring as part of the package. A manual override is retained for extended low-sunlight periods, and the shutter is built and validated like every RAX door.
