01 · Overview

Why Buyers Specify This Door

Beyond a certain span, rigid doors become impractical. A fabric hoisting door closes very large openings with a light, wind-braced curtain that lifts clear.

Vertical lifting fabric doors use horizontal fabric panels carried on a cable-and-drum lift system, so a door tens of metres wide and many metres high stays light enough to operate reliably. Horizontal wind bracing lets the curtain resist load without a heavy rigid leaf, and the whole assembly parks vertically above the opening, leaving the full width and height clear for aircraft, vessels and oversized loads.

The curtain is cut from heavy-duty PVC-coated fabric with reinforcement and optional insulation, vision strips and edge sealing. Drive is by electric winch with servo / VFD control and full safety devices. How large an opening can a fabric hoisting door close?

Very large openings — spans of tens of metres and considerable heights — are the core use case, because the light reinforced fabric curtain stays operable where a rigid door would be impractical. Exact span and height are engineered to your structural interface and confirmed on the technical layout.

How does a fabric curtain resist wind?

Horizontal wind bracing members run through the curtain, transferring load into the side towers so the light fabric resists pressure without a heavy rigid leaf. The bracing is sized to your site wind pressure and the class is confirmed per project against EN 12424.

How is the door lifted?

An electric winch raises and lowers the curtain on a balanced cable-and-drum system, with servo / VFD control for smooth travel. Anti-drop devices and slack-cable detection protect the lift, and the door parks vertically above the opening to leave it fully clear.

Can the curtain be insulated?

Yes. An insulated curtain with sealed edges is available for thermal separation, and vision strips can be added for daylight and visibility. We tailor the build to your environmental and operational needs.

Is the door CE certified?

Yes. We hold CE to EN 13241 and EN 12453 for operator safety, backed by ISO 9001:2015 and SGS material reports. A Declaration of Conformity and test report ship with every order.

What are the lead time and warranty?

Every door is custom-engineered to your specification. Samples run 7–15 days, a standard container 12–20 days, and a first custom order 20–35 days (repeat orders 15–20 days). FOB ports are Tianjin and Qingdao, FCL and LCL.

What warranty and spare parts support do you offer?

Door body is covered for 2 years and the operator / motor for 3 years (servo motor 5 years). Free spare parts within warranty ship by DHL/FedEx in 5–7 days, and OEM projects are protected under NDA.
