The micro-perforated roller shutter uses very small, closely spaced holes rather than large punches. The result is a curtain that reads almost solid from a distance yet still allows controlled airflow and can contribute to acoustic damping — useful where a full perforation would be too open visually, but some ventilation or sound attenuation is wanted.
RAX produces the micro-perforation on its CNC punching centre, holding tight tolerances on hole diameter and pitch so the open area stays low and consistent. Micro-perforated slats are available in galvanized steel, aluminum or stainless and finished to any RAL color, with the same in-house drive and safety options as the rest of the range.
