Extreme Cold Storage Industrial Door

Deep-freeze industrial doors engineered to seal at −30 °C and below — heated tracks, cold-flexible seals and high-density insulation that will not ice up.

A cold storage door built for extreme low-temperature duty: thick insulated panels, anti-freeze heated frames and fast operation that limits warm-air ingress. Validated from −30 °C cold storage to +50 °C desert, custom built from prototype to container-load, full order flexibility.

01 · Overview

Why Buyers Specify This Door

In a deep-freeze room, a door that ices up or leaks warm air burns energy and stops the line. This range is engineered specifically for extreme cold.

Every detail is chosen for low-temperature duty: a high-density PU foam core for thermal resistance, silicone rubber seals that stay flexible when ordinary rubber goes brittle, and a heated frame and track that prevent condensation from freezing the door shut. Fast powered operation keeps the opening time short, so warm, moist air cannot flood the room and form ice.

RAX validates cold storage doors from −30 °C up to +50 °C, so the same engineering discipline covers both deep freeze and the desert-duty heat that breaks lesser doors. Configuration can be a fast vertical-lift door for high-traffic routes or an insulated sliding door for larger openings — selected to your throughput and opening size.

RAX company facts are from the approved brand brief. Industry-typical values are labeled in the Basis column and confirmed against your technical layout.

How low a temperature can these doors handle?

Doors are validated from −30 °C cold storage up to +50 °C desert duty, and deep-freeze rooms at −30 °C and below are handled with the right panel thickness, seals and heated frame. Tell us your room set-point and we engineer the build to match.

How do you stop the door icing up?

A heated frame and track option keeps guides and seals free of condensation ice, so the door never freezes shut. Cold-flexible silicone rubber seals stay elastic at low temperature where ordinary rubber goes brittle and leaks.

Which configuration suits a high-traffic cold room?

For frequent forklift traffic we recommend a fast vertical-lift door — short open time limits warm, moist air ingress that causes ice. For larger openings an insulated sliding door is used. We select the configuration to your throughput and opening size.

Can the door meet food hygiene requirements?

Yes. Stainless steel 304/316 skins are available for hygiene and washdown zones, with easy-clean surfaces and sealed edges. We tailor the finish to your HACCP or GMP environment.

Is the door CE certified?

Yes. We hold CE to EN 13241 and EN 12453 for operator safety, backed by ISO 9001:2015 and SGS material reports. A Declaration of Conformity and test report ship with every order.

What are the lead time and warranty?

Every door is custom-engineered to your specification. Samples run 7–15 days, a standard container 12–20 days, and a first custom order 20–35 days (repeat orders 15–20 days). FOB ports are Tianjin and Qingdao, FCL and LCL.

What warranty and spare parts support do you offer?

Door body is covered for 2 years and the operator / motor for 3 years (servo motor 5 years). Free spare parts within warranty ship by DHL/FedEx in 5–7 days, and OEM projects are protected under NDA.
