GMP-compliant stainless steel flush door for pharma and food production
A corrosion-resistant, fully flush swing door in stainless steel 304 or 316 — built for GMP suites and washdown environments where coated steel cannot survive. Made to your opening from prototype to full production runs.
In GMP production and food processing, doors face repeated chemical washdown, high humidity and strict hygiene audits. Stainless steel is the only substrate that survives this duty without coating degradation.
The RAX Stainless Steel GMP Flush Door uses a full stainless 304 or 316 leaf and frame with welded-and-polished joints, concealed stainless hinges and a flush silicone gasket. There are no exposed fixings, no painted surfaces to chip, and no ledges where product residue or biofilm can accumulate. The result is a door that passes visual GMP inspection and withstands daily caustic or acid washdown.
It is the standard closure for pharma formulation rooms, API suites, food preparation and packaging halls, dairy and beverage plants, and any controlled environment where corrosion resistance is non-negotiable.
GMP grade references (EU GMP Annex 1) are industry-standard designations used to position the door; they are not certificates held by RAX. RAX company facts are from the approved brand brief.
Every door is engineered to your opening. The values below are the validated baseline; final figures are confirmed on your specification.
| Parameter | Specification | Basis |

| Surface Finish | 2B / No.4 brushed or mirror polish; Ra ≤ 0.8 µm optional. | Industry-typical |
| Leaf Thickness | 40–50 mm sandwich with honeycomb or PU core. | Industry-typical |
| GMP Suitability | Designed for EU GMP Annex 1 grade B–D room boundaries. | Industry standard reference |
| Sealing | Flush silicone gasket, chemical-resistant, FDA-grade optional. | RAX design |
| Hardware | Stainless concealed hinges, flush handle, optional closer. | RAX design |
| Standard Opening | 900 × 2100 mm clear; custom sizes on request. | Industry-typical |
| Cycle Life | 100,000 cycles validated in the RAX fatigue test lab. | RAX-measured |
316 is recommended for chloride-rich or acid washdown environments (dairy, seafood, API). Confirm grade, surface Ra and gasket material on the technical layout.
Validated substrates, processed in-house on an auto PU foam panel line and CNC punching/bending centre.
Match the door to the opening duty — keep each card to one line.
Your installers get the full document set before the door ships.
Certificates we hold today, and the project-specific test data we arrange against the matching standard.
GMP compliance is validated at facility level by the qualified person; RAX supplies material certificates, surface-finish data and flush-design documentation to support your GMP qualification package.
Large industrial doors from prototype to container-load delivery.
Specify stainless grade, surface finish (2B, No.4, mirror), core type, gasket material and hardware to match each room’s washdown protocol. Full OEM/ODM under NDA.
From custom engineering to container-load delivery — the document set your local installers need.
Door body 2-year warranty; operator/motor 3 years (servo 5 years). Free spare parts within warranty, dispatched DHL/FedEx 5–7 days.
316 contains molybdenum for superior chloride resistance. Specify 316 for seafood, dairy, CIP (clean-in-place) areas and any room where caustic or acid washdown contains chlorides. 304 is sufficient for most pharma and dry-food environments.
A No.4 brushed finish (Ra ≤ 0.8 µm) is the industry-typical target for GMP grade B–D surfaces. Mirror polish is available for grade A/B zones with stricter cleanability requirements. We confirm the Ra target on your technical layout.
Yes. Leaf seams are welded, ground and polished flush so there are no gaps, rivets or exposed fixings where residue can accumulate. The frame corners are welded and the gasket sits in a flush groove.
Every order ships with SGS material test reports verifying stainless grade and composition. Mill certificates for the raw sheet are available on request to support your GMP qualification documentation.
Sample 7–15 days; standard container 12–20 days; custom first order 20–35 days, repeat orders 15–20 days. FOB Tianjin or Qingdao, FCL and LCL supported.
RAX is a pure manufacturer and does not provide on-site installation. Every order ships with an English installation manual and pre-assembly photos so your local team can install confidently. Operators are pre-set and tested before dispatch.
