Also specified as: Cleanroom Sliding Door
A space-saving, flush sliding door for controlled environments where a swing leaf would disrupt layout or airflow. RAX engineers each sliding clean room door to your opening and class reference — single unit, full order flexibility.
In tight corridors, airlocks and equipment-dense rooms, a sliding leaf eliminates the swing arc — preserving floor space and reducing turbulence near the opening.
The RAX Clean Room Sliding Door runs on a flush-mounted overhead track with a nylon PA66 guide that keeps the leaf parallel to the wall. The face is smooth and ledge-free, the bottom guide is recessed or absent to avoid a particle trap, and perimeter brush or silicone seals limit air exchange when the leaf is closed.
Available as a manual slider or paired with an automatic operator (radar, push-button or access-control triggered), it suits pharma corridors, hospital clean zones, electronics assembly and food production where traffic flow and space efficiency matter.
Cleanroom class references (ISO 14644-1) are industry-standard designations used to match the door to the room; they are not certificates held by RAX. RAX company facts are from the approved brand brief.
Every door is engineered to your opening. The values below are the validated baseline; final figures are confirmed on your specification.
| Parameter | Specification | Basis |
|---|---|---|
| Door Type | Single / bi-parting sliding leaf on overhead track. | RAX configuration |
| Cleanroom Suitability | Designed for rooms referenced to ISO 14644-1 Class 5–8. | Industry standard reference |
| Track System | Flush overhead aluminium / steel rail, nylon PA66 rollers. | RAX design |
| Leaf Material | Galvanized steel powder-coated, or stainless 304 / 316. | Per project |
| Leaf Thickness | 40–50 mm sandwich panel, honeycomb or PU core. | Industry-typical |
| Sealing | Perimeter brush / silicone gasket; optional drop-bottom seal. | RAX design |
| Operation | Manual, or automatic with servo / VFD operator. | Per project |
| Opening Speed (Auto) | Adjustable 0.1–0.6 m/s; soft start/stop. | Industry-typical |
| Standard Opening | 1200 × 2100 mm clear (single slide); custom on request. | Industry-typical |
| Cycle Life | 100,000 cycles validated in the RAX fatigue test lab. | RAX-measured |
Automatic operation requires 220V/380V supply at the header. Confirm operator type, sensing (radar / push-button / access control) and safety edge on the technical layout before production.
Validated substrates, processed in-house on an auto PU foam panel line and CNC punching/bending centre.
Match the door to the opening duty — keep each card to one line.
Your installers get the full document set before the door ships.
Certificates we hold today, and the project-specific test data we arrange against the matching standard.
Cleanroom class (ISO 14644-1) is a room-level designation validated by the facility’s HVAC; RAX supplies the door to support that validation with material and finish documentation.
Large industrial doors from prototype to container-load delivery.
Configure leaf material, track length, operator type, sensing and safety devices to each opening. Full OEM/ODM: private label, packaging printing and manual translation under NDA.
From custom engineering to container-load delivery — the document set your local installers need.
Door body 2-year warranty; operator/motor 3 years (servo 5 years). Free spare parts within warranty, dispatched DHL/FedEx 5–7 days.
Choose sliding when the swing arc would conflict with equipment, benches or traffic flow, or where hands-free automatic operation is needed for high-frequency cycling. Sliding doors also reduce air turbulence at the opening because the leaf stays close to the wall plane.
The overhead rail is flush-mounted and the rollers run on nylon PA66 guides. There is no floor rail by default, eliminating the most common particle trap. Where a bottom guide is needed for large leaves, we use a recessed profile that can be cleaned in a single wipe.
Yes. The operator accepts radar, push-button, access-control card or biometric triggers. Wiring diagrams and interface specs ship with the door so your controls integrator can connect to BMS or interlock logic.
The flush, sealed design is typically specified for rooms referenced to ISO 14644-1 Class 5–8. The achieved class depends on the room’s HVAC and pressure cascade; the door is engineered to protect that class, not to certify it.
Sample 7–15 days; standard container 12–20 days; custom first order 20–35 days, repeat orders 15–20 days. FOB Tianjin or Qingdao, FCL and LCL supported.
Door body 2 years; operator/motor 3 years (servo motor 5 years). Free spare parts within warranty are dispatched by DHL/FedEx within 5–7 days. Tooling records are archived up to 5 years with no extra tooling fee on repeat orders.
