01 · Overview

Why Buyers Specify This Door

On a busy forklift route, a rigid door gets hit. A rubber traffic door takes the hit, flexes, and keeps working — cutting downtime and repair cost.

The door uses a flexible rubber-reinforced curtain instead of rigid panels, so an accidental forklift or pallet impact deflects the curtain rather than bending hardware or stopping the line. It is the standard solution for internal traffic openings — between production, storage and dispatch — where doors cycle hundreds of times a day and impacts are inevitable.

Curtains are cut from heavy-duty PVC-coated fabric with rubber edge protection, fitted with full-vision clear panels for two-way safety, and hung on high-cycle hardware. Manual double-action swing or powered vertical operation is available, and every door is validated through a 100,000-cycle fatigue protocol before shipping.

RAX company facts are from the approved brand brief. Industry-typical values are labeled in the Basis column and confirmed against your technical layout.

What happens when a forklift hits the door?

The flexible rubber-reinforced curtain deflects on impact and returns to position, so there is no rigid panel to bend and no hardware to jam. That is the core reason rubber traffic doors are used on busy forklift routes — they keep working after the kind of contact that stops a rigid door.

Is the door manual or powered?

Both are available. A double-action manual swing door suits lower-frequency routes, while a powered vertical operator with servo / VFD drive and radar or light-curtain sensing suits the busiest openings. We recommend the option to match your traffic volume.

Can I see through the door for safety?

Yes. Full-vision clear PVC or polycarbonate windows are standard so operators can see oncoming traffic from both sides. Window size and position can be tailored to your route and site safety rules.

What cycle life can I expect?

Curtain, hinges and hardware are validated through a 100,000-cycle fatigue protocol in our in-house test lab, sized for the hundreds of daily cycles typical on internal traffic routes.

Is the door CE certified?

Yes. We hold CE to EN 13241 and EN 12453 for operator safety, backed by ISO 9001:2015 and SGS material reports. A Declaration of Conformity and test report ship with every order.

What are the lead time and warranty?

Every door is custom-engineered to your specification. Samples run 7–15 days, a standard container 12–20 days, and a first custom order 20–35 days (repeat orders 15–20 days). FOB ports are Tianjin and Qingdao, FCL and LCL.

What warranty and spare parts support do you offer?

Door body is covered for 2 years and the operator / motor for 3 years (servo motor 5 years). Free spare parts within warranty ship by DHL/FedEx in 5–7 days, and OEM projects are protected under NDA.
