Rigid spiral high speed door for exterior and high-traffic internal openings – also searched as turbo spiral door, insulated high speed door and high-cycle spiral door.
A rigid-panel spiral door that opens fast, seals tight and shrugs off wind. Servo VFD drive, insulated panels and a wind rating of Class 12 on the RAX proprietary scale – engineered in one factory since 1999.
One idea: a high speed door that is also a robust exterior door. The spiral layout parks rigid panels in a compact overhead spiral, so the door runs at high speed without a flexible curtain that flaps, wears and leaks in wind.
Conventional soft-curtain high speed doors are fast but vulnerable: the fabric billows under wind load, the edges leak, and the curtain is the first thing to replace. The spiral door solves this with rigid, insulated panels that never fold – they rotate into a compact spiral track above the opening.
The result is a door that keeps high-cycle speed where you need it (logistics, food, manufacturing) and adds the wind resistance and thermal behaviour of a solid door where the opening faces weather. Every unit is built to your exact opening, in any size and any RAL colour, from prototype to full production runs.
Wind Class 12 is rated on RAX’s own proprietary scale (peer soft doors typically rate 8-10 on the same scale); it is not the EN 12424 Class 0-5 wind scale. U-value 0.33 W/m²K is a marketing reference value for the insulated panel, not a door-set test result.
Every door is engineered to your opening. The values below are the validated baseline; final figures are confirmed on your specification. Each row states whether the value is RAX-measured or an industry-typical range.

Need a value certified for tender? We arrange third-party test data against the matching standard per project – see Compliance below.
Validated substrates, processed in-house on an auto PU foam panel line and CNC punching/bending centre. No outsourcing of the structural parts.
High-cycle traffic plus a solid, weather-tight barrier – the spiral door fits openings that soft curtains cannot.
Your installers get the full document set before the door ships – the same package our EPC and distributor clients rely on.
Certificates we hold today, and the project-specific test data we arrange against the matching standard. We state held vs. per-project so you can tender honestly.
Rigorous 100,000-cycle fatigue testing, validated galvanized steel and aluminum alloy materials, and precision servo-drive manufacturing – performed in-house, not outsourced.
Large industrial doors from prototype to container-load delivery. Start with an OEM sample and scale to container-load branded production.
Every spiral door is built to your opening and your brand. Send the clear opening size, headroom and side room (or site photos) and our engineers return a proposal, technical confirmation and lead time.
From custom engineering to container-load delivery – the document set your local installers need.
Warranty: door body 2 years · operator/motor 3 years · servo motor 5 years. Free spare parts within warranty (DHL/FedEx 5-7 days). Lead time: sample 7-15 days · standard container 12-20 days · custom first order 20-35 days.
Class 12 is rated on RAX’s own proprietary wind scale, on which peer soft-curtain high speed doors typically rate 8-10. It is not the European EN 12424 Class 0-5 wind scale, so the number is not directly comparable to an EN 12424 class. The rigid spiral panels and aluminum 6063-T5 frame are what let the door hold its shape under wind load.
Yes. Every door is engineered to your clear opening width and height, headroom and side room – or from site photos. Every door is built to your non-standard size, in any RAL colour.
The door uses a servo VFD (variable-frequency) drive for smooth, controlled travel, and the assembly is validated to 100,000 cycles in RAX’s in-house fatigue test lab. The servo motor carries a 5-year warranty.
RAX holds ISO 9001:2015, CE marking against EN 13241 (industrial door product standard) and EN 12453 (operator safety), plus SGS material reports and Product Liability Insurance. Fire rating (EI60/EI120) and AS/NZS 4505 / UL counterpart test data are arranged per project, not held as standing certificates.
Sample orders run 7-15 days, a standard container 12-20 days, and a custom first order 20-35 days (repeat custom orders 15-20 days). FOB ports are Tianjin and Qingdao; FCL and LCL are both supported.
Every order includes wiring diagrams, an English installation manual, FAI first-article confirmation and pre-assembly photos, a factory inspection report (speed, noise, insulation resistance, visual), the 100,000-cycle fatigue test video/report, and the CE Declaration of Conformity with the EN 13241 test report.
The door body is warranted for 2 years, the operator/motor for 3 years and the servo motor for 5 years. Free spare parts ship within warranty by DHL/FedEx in 5-7 days. Tooling records are archived up to 5 years, with no extra tooling fee on repeat orders.
Send your opening size (W × H), application and target spec or RAL colour. Our engineers reply with a proposal and lead time – no obligation.
