The PU Insulated Sectional Door is RAX Door Technology’s core thermal-performance product for logistics warehouses, food-processing facilities and energy-conscious industrial buildings. Each door is built with 40–50 mm thick closed-cell polyurethane (PU) foam panels — the same insulation technology that premium European brands such as Hörmann use in their EPU/LPU ranges (Hörmann specifies 42 mm panels with CFC-free PU foam). RAX produces panels on an automated PU foam line, ensuring consistent foam density and bond quality across every batch.
For reference, a comparable CN-export industrial sectional door lists 40 mm panels at 46 kg/m³ foam density, achieving a thermal transmittance of 0.38 W/m²K (source: ecer.com industrial listing). RAX’s own marketing target is U-value 0.33 W/m²K thermal performance — this is a design goal pending RAX’s own EN-tested whole-door U-value report and should not be cited as a certified lab result. Steel skins range from 0.4 to 1.5 mm galvanized sheet (brand capability); for comparison, Hörmann uses 0.7–0.75 mm steel skins on its EPU40/LPU40 panels.
RAX-company facts on this page are from the approved brand brief. Industry benchmark values are attributed to their sources (Hörmann via renrendoc.com; CN-export listings via ecer.com; EN standard scopes via antpedia.com / baijiahao). RAX product-specific test data (U-value, wind class, fire rating) is confirmed per project.
Custom width × height, RAL color and configuration. Large industrial doors from prototype to container-load, full flexibility on order quantity.

Provide clear opening width × height and available headroom (distance from lintel to ceiling). Standard lift requires approx. 300–600 mm headroom; we produce the confirmation drawing showing exact track geometry.
Specify your required U-value or energy-code compliance. For insulated logistics buildings, a 40–50 mm PU panel is standard. We match panel build and perimeter sealing to your climate zone and confirm against EN 12428 thermal calculation.
State expected cycles/day. For 10+ cycles/day logistics use, specify high-cycle torsion springs (validated to 100,000 cycles in our fatigue lab). Standard residential-grade springs (approx. 10,000 cycles) are not suitable for industrial duty.
Choose RAL color (batch-consistent production), panel surface profile (flat/ribbed/cassette/orange-peel) and optional wood-grain transfer. Interior face standard is light grey; exterior to your brand palette.
RAX supports full private-label production of the PU Insulated Sectional Door: custom RAL panel colors, operator matching, packaging printing and installation-manual translation (EN/ES/FR/AR/RU). Start with an OEM sample and scale to container-load branded production. Custom molds, Tooling records are archived for up to 5 years — no extra tooling fee on repeat orders, all under strict NDA.
Product standard for industrial, commercial and garage doors — the harmonized basis for CE marking. Covers mechanical safety, thermal resistance (U-value), air permeability, water penetration, wind resistance and durability. Technical docs retained 10 years.
Safety in use of power-operated doors (operating forces, entrapment protection) and mechanical aspects (panel joints, springs, tracks). Together they define finger-safe geometry and controlled operating forces.
Wind load resistance classification (Class 0–5) and test method. Class 0 = none (internal/shielded); Class 5 = exceptional, >1000 Pa by special agreement. Confirm required class for your site wind exposure.
Air permeability classification framework. Perimeter sealing design targets low air-leakage for energy compliance in conditioned warehouses and cold-chain buffer zones.
RAX produces 40–50 mm closed-cell PU foam panels on an automated foam line. For reference, a comparable CN-export industrial door uses 40 mm panels at 46 kg/m³ density (ecer.com listing), while Hörmann specifies 42 mm CFC-free PU panels. Exact foam density per RAX product is confirmed on request with SGS material report.
No. The 0.33 W/m²K figure is RAX’s marketing design target for thermal performance. It is pending RAX’s own EN-tested whole-door U-value report. For context, a comparable CN-export door lists 0.38 W/m²K, and Hörmann’s EPU40/LPU40 achieves 0.5–1.3 W/m²K depending on panel/joint/glazing configuration. We will provide our test report once available.
RAX validates springs in its in-house 100,000-cycle fatigue test lab. Industry benchmarks: standard residential springs approx. 10,000 cycles; mid-grade industrial 30,000 cycles (CN-export listing, ecer.com); high-cycle industrial 50,000–100,000+. Specify your cycles/day and we match the appropriate spring rating.
We are a pure manufacturer and do not provide on-site installation. Every order ships with an English installation manual, wiring diagrams for your local installation team; operators are pre-set and tested before dispatch.
RAX holds ISO 9001:2015 and CE to EN 13241 (industrial door) and EN 12453 (operator safety), with SGS material reports and product liability insurance. Wind load class per EN 12424 and thermal data are confirmed per project. RAX can also support AS/NZS 4505 (Australia) and UL (North America) counterpart test data.
