What RF frequency does the RAX door remote control use?

RAX remotes are available in 433 MHz (standard), 315 MHz and 868 MHz variants. The correct frequency must match your receiver board — send us the receiver model or a PCB photo and we confirm the match before dispatch.

What is the difference between fixed-code and rolling-code remotes?

Fixed-code transmitters send the same binary pattern every press — simple but vulnerable to code-grabbing. Rolling-code (KeeLoq-style) generates a new code on each press, so intercepted signals cannot be replayed. RAX recommends rolling-code as the default for all new installations.

Can RAX remotes integrate with a building management system (BMS)?

Yes. RAX offers RS485 bus modules and dry-contact I/O interfaces for BMS integration. The servo/VFD operator natively supports WiFi and RS485 remote control, so the remote module can report door status and receive open/close/stop commands from a central system.
