An interlock door system is the physical enforcement of a GMP pressure cascade: only one leaf of the airlock can be open at any time, so unfiltered air never passes straight through.
The RAX Interlock Clean Room Door pairs two flush, gasket-sealed leaves (swing or sliding) with an electronic controller that locks one leaf while the other is in use. Status indicators (LED / buzzer) show which leaf is unlocked, and an emergency override releases both for evacuation. The logic accepts timer delays, access-control inputs and BMS dry contacts.
It is the standard solution for personnel and material airlocks between GMP grade boundaries, hospital sterile corridors, electronics clean zones and food production hygienic barriers.

A controller monitors both leaves. When one leaf is opened, the opposing leaf’s electromagnetic lock engages and its indicator shows red. Only when the first leaf is fully closed and the timer delay expires does the second leaf unlock. An emergency override releases both leaves simultaneously for evacuation.
Yes. The controller accepts dry-contact inputs from card readers, biometric scanners or BMS. Wiring diagrams and interface specs ship with the door so your controls integrator can connect without custom engineering.
Fail-safe mag-locks release on power loss so personnel are never trapped. An optional UPS backup keeps the interlock active during short outages. The emergency break-glass release provides a manual override regardless of power state.
