The RAX Hospital Door is available as a flush swing or sliding leaf with a smooth, non-porous face (HPL, powder-coated steel or stainless) that resists impact and withstands hospital-grade disinfectants. Concealed hinges, flush glazing and absence of ledges eliminate dirt traps. Acoustic cores and perimeter seals reduce corridor noise for patient comfort.

HPL (high-pressure laminate) and powder-coated steel are both non-porous and withstand hospital-grade disinfectants. Stainless 304 is preferred for CSSD and washdown areas. All options are flush with no ledges where bacteria can harbour.
Kick plates and crash rails in stainless or HPL protect the leaf face at trolley height. The rigid honeycomb or PU core resists denting, and concealed hinges eliminate protruding hardware that could catch equipment.
An acoustic core combined with perimeter seals and a drop-bottom seal achieves Rw 28–38 dB, reducing corridor noise for patient rooms and consultation suites. We confirm the target rating on the technical layout.
